Bragging Rights
Grandmothers ought to have bragging rights for grandchildren especially at Christmas. So here's the two youngest: Nathan and Rachel, 10th and 8th grades respectively, in their marching uniforms and ready to make a grand showing for JF at band competition this fall.
When Todd came to Birch Falls, he was the hired hand. How on earth can Clementine's family see him as something more? How can she? Follow the convoluted and often hilarious path that love takes as 1944 suddenly becomes 1954.
